Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift is an American country and pop singer/songwriter. Taylor Swift's tales are about the heartache of young girls. Swift discovered a love for music from a young age, and quickly moved from roles in theatre for children and her first public appearance in front of a crowd of thousands. In 2011, Swift, aged 11 at the time, performed The Star-Spangled Banner during a Philadelphia 76ers' basketball game. In the year following, she began to write her own songs. She drew inspiration from the popular country artists like Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks (now the Chicks) Swift crafted original music that was a reflection of her experience of tween alienation. At the age of 13, Swift's parents decided to sell their farm in Pennsylvania to move into Hendersonville Tennessee so she could spend more time to wooing labels from the country within the vicinity of Nashville.
