Alana De La Garza was born in 1976 to the Mexican-American father and Irish-American mother. Her role has been famous actress on TV. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother, was born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. De La Garza moved soon to Texas to study the field of physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas for a brief period before moving in Orlando Florida. She took on a variety of acting roles, including local independent movies and commercials. Even with the minor roles, she discovered that acting was her love. After moving to New York and in 2001 she scored her first acting gig in the soap opera daytime All My Children as Rosa Santos. Through the first half of the 2000s She appeared on small roles on JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was cast as her first part of a series in The Mountain, the short-lived drama on television. She played Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate enough to star alongside some top TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her most memorable role came in 2006 on Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared for 85 episodes. The character of her Law & Order: LA spinoff was short lived. The character of De La Garza was recognized with several nominations, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She also received ALMA Award nods. She was awarded an Impact Award in 2008 for her outstanding performance on a dramatic television series from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza was then selected as a regular actor on CSI Miami. She was Marisol Deko in the role of spouse of the actor David Caruso's Horatio. Her most recent TV appearance was in NBC's dark show Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. After just two episodes, the show ended up being cancelled.
